MALACHI AND THE LORDS MESSENGER

Therefore, now I shall send my Messenger, and he shall arrange the procedure for me: He shall arrive with great speed, the Messenger of THE LORD; He says, "Look, THE LORD is here in His temple" But who can stand up to them when they arrive? Who will be left standing when He appears? Because He is like a refiner's fire and fuller's soap, He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver, and He will purify and refine the sons of Levi as gold and silver, and they will offer to THE LORD offerings in righteousness. Then the offering of Judah and Jerusalem will be pleasing to THE LORD, as it was in the past and in previous years. And I will come near you for judgement; and I will be a swift witness against sorcerers, adulterers, and false swearers, and those who oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the orphan, and those who turn away the sojourner from his right, says THE LORD YHWH.

Behold, the day is coming; it is flaming as a furnace of fire, and all the evildoers shall be stubble, and their roots shall be destroyed. But the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in His wings for those who fear My Name, and you will go forth and skip around like a stall calf. And you shall advise the wicked, for they shall be ashes under your feet in the day of THE LORD OF HOSTS! Remember My Servant Moses' Law, which I gave him in Horeb for all of Israel, including statutes and judgements. Before the great and terrible day of THE LORD arrives, I will send you Elijah, the prophet. And he shall turn the hearts of fathers toward their children, and the hearts of children toward their fathers; otherwise, I will come and curse the Earth.
