Duality of Mind: Male and Female Principles: Telepathy and Hypnotism

 The Masculine and Feminine Principles of the Mind

I've been compiling my spell book which is all my favorite thoughts, philosophies, prayers, and incantations. I went back into exploring the lessons in the Kybalion, and wanted to share my thoughts on the duality, and dual gender of the Mind. For one,  understanding these principles unlocks The Gospel of Thomas regarding male and female mind.

The Masculine principle of mind corresponds to the objective, conscious, voluntary, active aspects of the mind. The feminine principle corresponds to the Subjective, sub-conscious, involuntary, passive aspects of Mind.

In the "I AM" the "I" represents the Masculine principle and the "AM" or "Me" is the feminine principle of Mind. The "I" represents the aspect of being and the "Me" the aspect of becoming. The tendency being the male is always giving and expressing. The female tendency is always receiving impressions.

Most people employ the male principle very little or rarely at all. They are content to live according to the thoughts and ideas instilled into the "Me" from the "I" of other minds. In telepathy and Hypnotism the male principle of one mind directs a stream of vibratory energy or willpower toward the feminine principle of another mind. The latter accepting it makes it its own and acts and thinks accordingly.

An idea thus planted into another's mind grows and is accepted as the mental offspring of the individual. Like a cuckoo egg placed in a sparrow nest. The majority of people's masculine principle of mind is too lazy, to act the display of will power is too slight, and the consequence is that such person's are ruled entirely by the minds, and Will's of others. Who they allow to do their thinking and doing for them. 

This makes the majority of people mere shadows and echoes of other Will's stronger than themselves. Now that you know this examine the "I" and the "Me" of your mind. The I is the constant and the Me is where your going or what your becoming. Are you sovereign or are you always dependent on other minds to instill their version of reality on you? Has your "I" been locked in the basement? Wake Him up.
